a year from now you will have wished you started today

Yo Yo! Reader,

I hope you are well! I have a small reflection today and also we celebrate 200 episodes of the Podcast too!

🤷🏻‍♂️ Life & Thoughts

One year ago, I wrote about feeling stuck and questioning my direction, my vision, and my place in the broader community. Imposter syndrome, doubt, and uncertainty had crept in. I knew I wanted to document, inspire, and create, but I was wrestling with how to do it in a way that felt authentic.

I took a step back, reflected, and asked myself:
👉 Why do I create?
👉 Who is it really for?
👉 What do I want to build long-term?

One Year Later: What’s Changed?

🔥 I’ve locked in harder than ever on my ambitions.
🔥 I’ve leaned into creating for me first—knowing that authenticity attracts the right audience.
🔥 I’ve continue to build my business, worked through some challenges on the running front and my 3rd ultra-marathon having to be cancelled, grown a podcast, and stayed accountable to the vision of Furthering My Lifestyle.
🔥 I’ve proven—through action—that showing up consistently matters more than waiting for the perfect plan.

The Big Lesson?

We all go through seasons of doubt, but clarity comes from doing the work—not overthinking it.

📌 You don’t need all the answers to take the next step.
📌 You don’t need guaranteed success to bet on yourself.
📌 You don’t need external validation to keep pushing forward.

So Here’s My Challenge to You:

What have you been overthinking? What’s the thing you know you want to do, but you’re stuck waiting for the “right time”?

💡 The right time is now.
💡 You figure it out by starting.
💡 One year from now, you’ll wish you had begun today.

I’m still here. Still building. Still charging on.

Are you?

Business Snapshot for 2025 (currently):

Today was the LAST day for me in the Storage Units. I have spent almost 2.5 years there and it changed my business and my life.

But today we started the new phase of 100% moving into the warehouse, which will be the new launching pad for greatness.

Don't get me wrong...

  • I am terrified
  • but I am also excited to face it and beat it

Business is like a video game.

We just have to level up and problem solve along the way.

FEB 2025 SNAPSHOT: lets hope I can even out the expenses over the next few months...

Hi! I'm a Chris

I send out a weekly newsletter sharing my progress, providing insights and just a "diary dump" of sorts of how it is all going... sign up for my newsletter below.

Howdy Reader, I am determined to see my dreams become a reality. One way or another and through the thick of it all. YOU SHOULD TOO! My dreams = my responsibilities. However every so often I have random backseat drivers drop their wise words of motivation like this... “For every one person who succeeds, a hundred thousand fail.” And they say it on the basis that due to this, I will likely fail, so why bother. TRULEY with an attitude like that, for sure we are going to fail. But those odds...

Yo Reader, Ever notice how growth doesn’t always feel like growth while it’s happening? I have shared this likely 10x now... but it still needs to be a reminder for myself, so why not share with you too! You look back later... months or years and realise how far you’ve come, even when most days felt like you were standing still. Thats the beauty of "showing up and time passes anyway". Time works in your favour when you show up. That is how you build momentum. This is how it compounds when you...

Yo Reader, Ever shared a goal? A dream? Something which fires you up, something which gets you excited... only to have someone come out and say "that's not possible". Well I think I hear this way too much, but the beauty of it... is it makes more push further into my dreams and goals! I want to chat about it today and maybe it can resonate with you.
