2024 was a winner of a year! Lots of success and positives! As shared below... but there are some tough realities too (see below):

It was 5 Years ago (11th Jan 2021) I took a chance on myself to leave the 9-5 and pursue creating a podcast and building a business which would suit my ideal lifestyle. None of it would have been possible without learning, experiencing and growing in my previous Job!

It is amazing what you can achieve when you set out with intention and action!

​2024 Results [eBay Small Business]​
👉🏼 $288,584 in top-line revenue, driven largely by pre-owned clothing
👉🏼 Revenue growth average of 78% YOY since 2021
👉🏼 4,113 buyers (up 17.6%) with 464 repeat buyers
👉🏼 5,669 items sold, a 33% increase from 2023
👉🏼 +1,500kg of clothing re-homed away from landfills.
👉🏼 Expanded the team to three members
👉🏼 Expanded our working space by 65%
👉🏼 Achieved a 16.61% net profit, up 34% from last year (in $AUD)
👉🏼 Achieved Number 1 seller in Australia for Men's Active Shorts & Number 2 for Men's Casual Shirts, while hitting 3 a few times for others.
* still lots to improve, but a huge win after all the re-investments and challenges!

​Other Wins​
👉🏼 Co-Launched a new Service Based Business "ProListAssist" providing a product listing solution that takes care of everything, helping reseller business owners save time, scale their business, and do what they love. Now over 11,000 listings created. Product Listing Service​

​👉🏼 Podcast has now reached over 25k downloads and we are about to hit episode 200 - Further Your Lifestyle Podcast​
​
👉🏼 Freedom to work when I want, how I want and the freedom to enjoy the simple and important things with loved ones, family and for myself.

👉🏼 Raised over $10,000 for Backpacks 4 VIC Kids now totalling $28,766 since 2021

My encouragement to everyone is this:
* identify what it is you want
* understand why you want it
* do one thing every day that will get you closer to that
* continue to align your focus, goals and values towards that north star
* we will surprise ourselves when we take action - we just have to go do it
​
I am grateful for the many friendships, partnerships, lessons and shares from many individuals this year - thank you for helping me become a better version of myself and see new levels of growth.

The tough takeaways:

• You can be excited all you want, but if you do nothing about it, nothing will happen
• You need to make the change that's going to make you uncomfortable because to be uncomfortable means you're growing.
• reflection is pointless without action. You can reflect all you want. You can think about all the things you should have, could have, would have, had have, yeah, didn't happen, whatever... but without ACTION on the reflection you will never grow
• everyone has their own problems to deal with, you are not their priority - so focus on doing what you want - not what you think you think they want you to be doing
• check yourself before you wreck yourself - keep your mind clean, fresh and in the right place
