that fear isn’t a red light it’s a signal that you’re about to grow...

Howdy Howdy Reader,

I hope you have had a WONDERFUL day and week too!

We have had a few new folks jump on board! So welcome to my weekly newsletter!

This week, is a short and sweet read; as being a public holiday I wanted to make sure I focused as much time on "rest" as possible.

But I do have a wonderful update and challenge for you!

Last Newsletter can be read here

🤷🏻‍♂️ Life & Thoughts

Have you ever stopped yourself from chasing something big, or fromleveling up, taking a risk, or chasing a dream... all just because it felt too scary?

You over-analysed, overthought, and then came the excuses: "What if I fail? I’m not ready. I don’t have time."

Sound familiar? Well its a regular challenge for myself!

Here’s the thing: that fear isn’t a red light it’s a signal that you’re about to grow.

Fear Is a Compass

  • The bigger the fear, the more it’s tied to something meaningful.
  • Fear doesn’t mean stop. It means you’re stepping outside your comfort zone.

When I started my podcast, I was terrified. I didn’t feel qualified. I worried about failing. But every episode became a stepping stone for growth. Looking back, the fear wasn’t a warning it was a nudge to push forward.

The same for my business; from each of the level up moments:

  • investing in storage shelves at home
  • moving into a storage unit, then another... and all the way up to 5 units (they got easier)
  • getting a van for the business
  • buying my first wholesale order
  • buying stock and driving 1500kms away to pick up and collect

HECK! All of this wouldn't be possible if I did not take a chance 5 years ago, to pursue my dreams!

Excuses or Growth?

Next time you hesitate, ask yourself:

  • Am I saying no because it’s not right for me, or because I’m scared of the unknown?
  • What’s the worst that could happen if I say yes? Failure is temporary. Regret lasts forever

Your Challenge This Week

  1. Identify one thing you’ve been saying no to because of fear.
  2. Take one small step toward it—send an email, start research, or commit to the first step.
  3. Flip the script: Instead of asking, “What if I fail?” ask, “What if I succeed?”

What would your life look like if you said yes?

CHALLENGE: Reply and share: What’s one thing you’re saying yes to this week?

Business Snapshot for 2025 (currently):

  • January 2025 is shaping up to be my best month EVER. PROFIT and REVENUE!
  • the above brings me to goosebumps as - the amount of times people have said the below isnt possible... well actions speak louder than words, and here is evidence that they have no idea what they are talking about!
  • don't get me wrong, this is 1 month - but it is a HUGE WIN!

Yo! Reader, This week… felt like a shift. Not a “we’ve made it” moment. Not a “everything is solved” moment. Yo! Reader, This week felt different. Not perfect. Not magical. Not “we’ve made it” different. But different in the kind of way that reminds you what’s possible when things finally start to click again. And after a few tougher weeks, I won’t lie… I needed that. Maybe you do too. Yo! Reader, And just like that… another week gone. Honestly, they’re flying at the moment. Some weeks feel long when you’re inside them, but when you step back and look at it — it’s like the calendar just keeps flipping pages. This week has been… better. Not perfect. Not exactly where I want things to be. But better. And right now, I’ll take better.
